Just a note here! A sealed cooling system MUST be able to hold and pass a vacuum test! Otherwise your overflow tank will keep running out of coolant. That means that the system is leaking even if you can't find it. Everything leaks as the vehicle gets older.

I have black hair but “real black” always looks so unnatural so I go for Dark Brown and it looks much better. U may also want to try Control X….as u don’t have too much grey hair

People complaining about the gearing I think they did just fine. It gets to around 70mph pretty fast WOT and slows down after that. More than enough for highway merging and then it is geared for fuel economy.

Can you make a video showing the procedure for starting the hybrid in engine mode so that the oil cycles through the engine initially are replacing it? There should be a combination of additional steps to place the hybrid car into engine only mode and then are it’s shut off it should start up the second time in electric mode.

All I'm concerned about is it burning my skin. You said it doesn't have alot of harsh chemicals but said nothing about it not burning the skin. I've read reviews that say it does burn chemically.

I replaced thermostat today, no rtv used and looks like no leaks. My symptoms were the van would overheat but cool back down within 30 seconds or so. One of my rad fans wasn’t working either so I replaced that first but it still was overheating. Van had 244k on the clock so I figured why not just replace tstat for 10-15 dollars seeing it was original. Seemed like the old one was showing symptoms of sticking/getting lazy. Seems to have fixed the issue as it used to go up to halfway mark before cooling down even before the overheating issue, now it’s 1 tick under halfway when the tstat opens. Used gates tstat and fel pro gasket and no rtv/gasket maker just cleaned surfaces pretty well. Had to file down edge of new tstat a tad bit since it wasn’t fitting in the old housing perfectly, a new housing might have been a slightly better route but the van has 244k and I spend about 90 on the new rad fans so wanted to keep the bill around 100. Hope this helps someone if u have same symptom of overheating then cooling down pretty quickly

Matterhorn was amazing! I grew up in Caldwell, ID and spent my ten year old to young adult years eating those amazing chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. They were so delicious. I was lucky enough to live on Santa Clara Drive in Caldwell, Idaho and a neighbors mom actually worked at Matterhorn and we would get FREE ice cream from her parents they shared with us!! A little girl named Michelle her mom worked there. I can’t for the life of me recall her parents names but her mom walked to work and home daily at the little factory at the bottom of a residential area named “canyon hill”. I thought she had the perfect life working at the ice cream factory and taking care of her husband and daughter. I figured when I had a family, I just as well better do exactly what she was doing so that I could keep my mind, body and spirit in alignment with a healthy dose of Matterhorn! They were super kind, calm people and I believe they knew my siblings and I didn’t get that fancy type of treat very often. Then later on I worked for a company that actually did the print advertising that was for Matterhorn and the rep for Matterhorn or sometimes our CEO would bring in boxes of ice cream for employees! ☺️so guess what I no longer lived near the lady who worked for Matterhorn, but still I was gifted by some divine ice cream intervention with Matterhorn treats at no expense. I was so highly disappointed about the tasteless gross toll house version. Oh dear it emphasized my dream to taste that wonderlicious flavor of the perfect balance of not too sweet and perfectly still taste like both a cookie and ice cream. Any company that has rights and doesn’t manufacture this again is really doing a disservice to the entire western half of the USA. We need a petition to bring back the Matterhorn!! 🙏☺️ Special thanks to my daughter for sharing this video with me and bringing back the memories 🥰

I went through it 2 years ago in California - coming back to the station near the end of the day to see two carts waiting for me, a few go backs, managers calling me, asking how much longer , had to pee a few times when there was no gas stations nearby or restaurants causing me to get further behind or pee my pants so I got further behind. The day one of the managers showed up, hot sweaty day, working hard as I did every day moving swiftly, walking through yards when possible instead of the sidewalks, flats sliding out of my grip had to pick ‘em up but anyway the day that dude came out , with a stopwatch , kneeling in the street timing me then commenting every 3 or 4 houses - never with a mean tone of voice but pointing out ways for me to be faster, some of it helpful but still presented to me in a “not good enough” way - I made it 6 weeks - the day I was timed and went back to the station at dark to see another cart waiting for me - I walked in , found the Union steward, went up to him and said I’m done bro. We talked about it for 10 minutes or so then we went to the on duty supervisor and told her - she offered my a lengthier training period and I just basically said no thank you, I appreciate it but I’m done. That was it, I was finished. I’m 61 right now. I know I could have made it through if I continued but after being a hard working electrician for 32 years , construction worker years before that, I just didn’t want to stick it out so I quit
